Frequently asked
Are taxes included?

Biweekly = every 2 weeks (26/year). Semimonthly = twice a month (24/year).

How is hourly calculated from a salary?
Annual ÷ (52 × hours per week). Change “Hours per week” to match your real schedule.
What about overtime?
Overtime adds time-and-a-half (or more) on hours past 40/week. Use the Overtime Calculator for that.
Should I use 50 or 52 weeks?
We use 52 to match how most salaries are quoted (paid time off included). Subtract unpaid weeks if you're a contractor.
